The Israeli Palestinian Conflict.
I've been trying to avoid all talk about this conflict both on and off the internet but
I'm just inclined to believe that the Israeli government's a bunch of really cruel monstrous shitheads and Hamas has no other option but to fight back at this rate, no matter what their intentions were beforehand. Thanks US for stalling, thanks UN for being useless, etc. etc.
I don't see how one justifies killing 800 people anyway.
EDIT: It's real easy to adopt the whole "heh it's war. people die." idea when you just ignore the effect peoples' deaths have on those around them, as well as all the lost opportunities. Yes, this is war, but it's really fucking horrible and we should all make an effort to put a stop to it. Screw human nature.

I "work" for Manchester University, being a postgraduate researcher and all. But a University clearly isn't a corporation, and I can't even complain about what I do anyway since, to be honest, I actually like it.
Sucks to be people doing menial jobs.
And it's also pretty cool that someone from Morgan Stanley of all places frequents an amateur game-making forum.
I don't do any "real" work but I go to a retirement home every week (or every other week, it depends) on behalf of my school's volunteer's scheme.
